Consent & permissions
What you agree to when you send us a drawing, and what we promise in return. In plain words.
- A grown-up sends drawings for anyone under 18.
- We show the drawing with the artist's first name, age and country. Nothing else, ever.
- The artist keeps their drawing. You let us show and print it as part of the project.
- Paid work and photos or videos of kids always need a separate signed form.
- Changed your mind? Email us and we'll take it down.
Who fills in the forms
If the artist is under 18, a parent or guardian sends the drawing and ticks the consent box. Artists who are 18 or older send their own. The email on the form should belong to that grown-up: it's where we send confirmations and where you can reach us about the drawing later.
What we show
Each drawing is shown with the artist's first name, age and country. We never publish last names, schools, cities, email addresses or photos of the artist.
Where a drawing can appear
- The gallery on our website.
- Our monthly winners announcements, on the site, in our newsletter and on our social media.
- The year-end stamps, if the drawing wins: the stamp carries the artist's first name.
- Posts and printed materials that show what SciNatured does.
Who owns the drawing
The artist does. By sending it, you give SciNatured permission to show, print and share it for the uses above, free of charge. We won't sell a drawing or use it to advertise anyone else's product.
How the jury works
The jury sees each drawing with a number only, never the name, age or country. They judge the idea, not the technique. Please write the artist's name on the back of the drawing, not the front.
Members and paid work
When a member's work goes on our channel and we pay for it, we first sign a short written agreement with the member, or with their parent or guardian if they're under 18. Payment goes to that grown-up.
Photos and videos at in-person sessions
At sessions in Niagara Falls we only film or photograph children whose parent or guardian has signed a separate photo and video release. Without it, we keep them out of the frame.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw consent at any time. Email scinatured@re-prod.com with the artist's first name and the rhyme, and we'll remove the drawing from our website and stop using it in new posts within 14 days. Stamps that are already printed and posts that others have shared can't be fully called back, but we won't use the drawing again.
